| The original Ultima GP RTR kit was a discontinued car released in 2001. This nice entry car was great for getting started in Nitro R/C. I've been racing the Ultima RB Type R electric car and so I bought a new GP kit and replaced most of the front and rear setups with an extra electric type-r buggy/parts. I used the same wheels and tires for the type-r, as well as the awesome shocks. The servos/receiver/transmitter was replaced too with a Futaba 2PH syste.. This new custom car now smoothly takes the jumps and handles well. The only thing I want more is to upgrade the gear system. I'll have to check to see if the ST Evolution's gear will fit this car. |
